Founded on September 16th 1980 by Karl Wilhelm Kalkbrenner, the company’s services were complimentary to the Real Estate Services provided by the owner of Al Villas, Enzio von Baselli, who was then also Honorary Consul to the Federal Republic of Germany in the Algarve. They remained business partners for almost a decade, until Enzio’s retirement.

After spending several school summers interning for his father and having completed his Business Management Course at the German & Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in Lisbon, René joined the company in October 2001. He assisted his father with the company management, until his father’s retirement in December 2009.

Following the transition in 2010, René set his sights on developing and expanding on the ground work laid out by his father. In the years that followed, he built a network of companies that synergize with the property management services provided by this company. Today they provide services in Real Estate, property development, logistics and storage, as well as commercial solutions for companies based abroad.
